Software and hosting for Dudley's manufacturers and Main Street
Route 12 to the Connecticut line
Does Kief Studio work in Dudley? Yes.
Manufacturing is Dudley's biggest employer by sector, with 711 jobs in the 2012 Economic Census figures the town's economic development plan relies on, well ahead of restaurants and retail. Much of the industrial land is on Schofield Avenue, the Route 12 corridor, where the regional planning commission counted about 100 acres zoned industrial and saw few empty buildings.
The town says it went decades without a formal economic development plan, and the one it wrote aims to give business what it needs to compete in a knowledge-based economy. Its 2024 gateway plan adds that Nichols College, which teaches business, plays a vital role in that work. Kief Studio, in Shrewsbury, builds ERP and integrations for shops on the Route 12 corridor and websites for businesses on West Main Street, and hosts all of it on LTFI.
