From the Depot to the Common: software for West Brookfield
Where Route 9 meets Route 67
Does Kief Studio work in West Brookfield? Yes.
West Brookfield has two business areas with different needs. Its 2017 master plan describes the Route 9 corridor as a vibrant array of small scale commercial and retail businesses, and it places four significant manufacturing companies in the Depot area south of Route 9, near the CSX railroad. Kief Studio builds for both kinds of company and hosts what it builds on LTFI. The studio is in Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
On Route 9 and around the Common, the plan says the economy is driven by craft and antique shops, restaurants and inns. That work is a website that takes bookings or sells online, kept current by us. In the Depot area it is heavier: an ERP that tracks orders and inventory, or the integrations that keep a plant's systems talking. The town's own plan sees modest light industrial growth there and guided growth on Route 9 as its main paths to new commercial tax revenue.
