Software and hosting for Maynard's mill-town companies
Mill & Main and downtown
Does Kief Studio work in Maynard? Yes.
Maynard is a mill town that kept its mill. The historic complex is now Mill & Main, a 50-acre office campus redesigned in phases from 2015 to 2018 to open it up to downtown, and the town's marketing plan counts its Class A space, suited to small and large businesses, among Maynard's strengths. Kief Studio builds and hosts software for companies like those from Shrewsbury, and the lead offer is managed hosting on LTFI.
People MAPC interviewed for that plan also wanted Maynard to back start-ups and new entrepreneurs. A young company in a mill building needs what a big one has, minus the IT department: hosting that someone watches, a product built to last past its first customers, and security that holds up when a larger buyer starts asking questions.
