Not if the site is hosted somewhere else. We host it on LTFI, so customers reach it whatever your home connection is doing, and you update it from any connection that works.
Barre's family businesses, online and kept running
Routes 32 and 122
Does Kief Studio work in Barre? Yes.
Barre is a town of small operators. Its 2026 master plan counts about 250 businesses, and the town's 2019 economic development plan found that companies with under 10 employees make up about half of local employment, with home-based businesses a very important part of the mix. Kief Studio builds websites and business tools for owners like these and hosts them on LTFI. The studio is in Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
The same 2019 plan names limited internet access as a major barrier for those home-based businesses. We cannot fix the line coming into a farmhouse, but we can take the website, the booking page and the shop off it: hosted on LTFI, they stay reachable for customers when the home connection is slow or down, and we keep them updated so the owner does not have to.
When the master plan asked what Barre needs more of, nearly eighty percent of respondents said family-operated businesses and mom-and-pop stores. A farm stand, a brewery, a contractor or a new shop at Quabbin Plaza has the same short list: be found, take the order, and keep the records backed up.
