Commerce, sites and back-office systems for Natick's Route 9 economy
Golden Triangle and Route 9
Does Kief Studio work in Natick? Yes.
Retail employs more people in Natick than any other sector, and professional and technical services are close behind, according to the town's Natick 2030+ master plan. Kief Studio works for both kinds of business. For stores we build and run the storefront, the search presence and the links between point of sale, inventory and the website. For professional firms we build the client portal or internal tool the office keeps meaning to replace. Everything is hosted on LTFI, and the studio is in Shrewsbury.
The plan places Natick's biggest retail cluster in the Golden Triangle, which straddles the Framingham line along Route 9. It also counts just over 3 million square feet of office space, much of it older Class B and C space where small professional firms rent. Natick Center and West Natick both sit on the Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line, so the town is tied into the same rail spine as Worcester.
