Protect
Authorized attacks, so you find the hole first.
Penetration testing is an authorized, scoped attack on your systems that proves what a real attacker could reach. A vulnerability scan lists what might be wrong, and a pen test shows what actually is. It is for businesses that need evidence for a customer, an insurer, or an audit, and for teams that want to find the hole first. Kief Studio tests systems we also know how to harden.
What we do
- Agree scope, rules of engagement, and timing in writing before anything starts.
- Test what you authorized: applications, APIs, cloud accounts, and networks.
- Prove each finding with the path an attacker would take, ranked by real impact.
- Show how to close each finding, then retest to confirm the fix.

Who it is for
Businesses with web applications, cloud accounts, or internal networks that hold customer or patient data, and teams preparing for an audit or a security questionnaire.

When to look elsewhere
Unscoped requests to just hack us, or any testing without written authorization from the owner of the systems.
What we can stand behind
- Security is a byproduct of good engineering.
- 13+ year client relationships.
- Founded 2022. Operating together since 2012.
Penetration testing: common questions
How is a pen test different from a vulnerability scan?
A scan lists known weaknesses that might be present. A pen test tries to use them, and proves what an attacker can actually reach, chain together, and take from your systems.
Do you need written authorization?
Yes. We do not start without a signed scope from the owner of the systems being tested. It protects you, it protects us, and it keeps the test honest.
What is agentic security?
It is how we extend test coverage with automated agents during a managed engagement. We run it and review what it finds. We operate it for you.
Does HIPAA require a penetration test?
HIPAA does not name pen testing outright, but it does require regular technical evaluation of your safeguards. A scoped test is one of the clearest ways to show that evaluation.
