Start clean. Credentials in a vault, not a spreadsheet.
Technology onboarding is the first stage of working with us: we collect access, take inventory of every system, and agree on priorities before changing anything. It is for new clients, and for businesses that inherited a stack as a folder of passwords and half-written notes. Kief Studio moves credentials into a vault, documents what you run, and writes the first priorities with you. Discovery is included.
What we do
- Collect access securely and move credentials into a vault.
- Take inventory of systems, accounts, domains, and vendors.
- Find the urgent risks and fix the ones that cannot wait.
- Agree on priorities and write them down as the starting plan.
They were able to translate ALL of the random thoughts we had into a cohesive, inviting and comprehensive final product. Kief Studio responds almost immediately to my concerns and offers up solutions I would never have thought of.

Who it is for
New managed services and advisory clients, and businesses taking over systems from a previous provider or employee.

When to look elsewhere
A login emailed to us with no inventory or context. We start by understanding what is there.
What we can stand behind
- Security is a byproduct of good engineering.
- 13+ year client relationships.
- No shared hosting. Dedicated infrastructure.
Technology onboarding: common questions
Should we email you our passwords?
No. Credentials go into a vault, never into email or a spreadsheet. We set up secure access at the start and remove anything that should not be shared.
Is discovery a separate project?
No. Discovery is included in onboarding. Understanding what you run is the first part of the work, and it shapes every decision that comes after it.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends on how many systems you run and how well they are documented. We agree on the scope at the start, so you know what the first weeks will cover.
